This single sentence shifted the trajectory of my life.

At the time, I had done all the “right” things: therapy, personal development, reflection. But I was still stuck. Still ruminating. Still saying “yes” when my whole body wanted to say “no.” Still making decisions from guilt, fear, and old stories that were living in my nervous system - not just my mind.

That moment launched a years-long journey into the mind-body connection. I studied trauma recovery, nervous system regulation, somatics, yoga, and the physiology of communication. Along the way, I learned the key to it all:
If we don’t address the body’s role in how we communicate, we stay stuck - no matter how smart, strategic, spiritual, or self-aware we are.
As a CFO of a $2B company, a CPA with over 25 years of experience, and a certified yoga teacher, I’ve walked in both worlds.
